Job Description

As a Drywall Mechanic, you will take charge of installing, repairing, and maintaining drywall structures across various project types. Expect to work within both team settings and independently to achieve top-notch quality in all outputs.

Responsibilities

• Install drywall in various settings, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Finish drywall surfaces using appropriate techniques.
• Participate in job site meetings to discuss project updates.
• Handle rough openings for doors and windows appropriately.
• Ensure tools and materials are secured after each work shift.
• Assist in training new team members on drywall installation.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of installed drywall.
• Adhere to all site safety rules and cleanliness protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in drywall or building construction is a plus

Experience

• Experience with insulation installation is advantageous
