Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Program Director to lead our music programs in Kilmarnock. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for music education, overseeing various musical projects and community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the vision and mission of the music programs in Kilmarnock.
  • Cultivate a vibrant community of musicians and participants in music.
  • Assess community interests and adapt offerings appropriately.
  • Evaluate and report on program outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Lead fundraising efforts to support music programs.
  • Experiment with innovative programming to enhance engagement.
  • Ensure inclusivity in all music projects and programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music, Arts Administration, or relevant field
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in music program management, with a focus on community engagement
