Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Rock Splitters to join our quarry team. As a Rock Splitter, you will play a vital role in the extraction of stone and aggregate products, executing tasks with precision and a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and work areas.
• Assist in mapping quarry resources and planning extraction activities.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Document and report on production activities and material quality.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by the Quarry Manager.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Quality Control

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• CSCS Card
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with GPS equipment: Knowledge in using GPS technology for quarry operations.
• Environmental Awareness Training: Understanding of environmental regulations and practices relevant to quarry operations.
