Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Expansion Joint Builder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing expansion joints in various structures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install expansion joints per engineering specifications.
• Carry out inspections and maintenance of existing joints.
• Repair faults in expansion joints using the correct tools.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Work closely with project managers to determine timelines and requirements.
• Ensure work sites are prepared and equipped.
• Document all project-related activities.
• Mentor and train less experienced staff.
• Perform quality assurance checks.
• Stay informed about new construction techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational certifications in construction or engineering.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in expansion joint construction.
