Job Description

As a Plating Operator, you will take charge of operating and monitoring our advanced plating equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the plating process. We are looking for detail-oriented candidates who can adhere to strict production standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of plating machines to ensure efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain metal surfaces through effective cleaning and polishing methods.
• Follow detailed guidelines to perform proper plating techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain excellence in plated products.
• Document and report on process statistics and observations.
• Assist with training new team members on operational procedures.
• Implement corrective actions to improve production performance.
• Engage in team meetings to provide insights on process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or certification in plating operations preferred.

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Equipment handling

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Effective communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific plating techniques: Familiarity with processes like electroplating and electroless plating is advantageous.
• Quality control experience: Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection roles is a plus.
