Job Description

As a Warehouse Optimization Consultant, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing strategies to optimise warehouse operations. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and improve inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Review existing warehouse processes and recommend enhancements.
  • Coordinate with inventory management teams to streamline stock control.
  • Implement best practices for order fulfilment to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies to support operational efficiency.
  • Conduct staff training sessions on new procedures and health & safety standards.
  • Establish and review performance metrics for warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to optimise supplier relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction in operations.
  • Assist in preparing budget forecasts for warehouse operations.
  • Prepare regular updates for senior management on project status.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years in logistics or consulting roles focusing on warehouse optimisation
