Job Description

As a Maintenance Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. Your tasks will include performing routine maintenance and urgent repairs on various equipment and systems within our properties.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC systems and plumbing.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Document all maintenance activities and report on issues.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the maintenance area.
  • Train and assist junior maintenance staff as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of new maintenance technologies and methods.
  • Work with various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Participate in safety audits and inspections.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade school certification in HVAC or general maintenance preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in general maintenance or HVAC
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in using building management software
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
Soft Skills
  • Teamwork skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Experience in a facilities management role: Proven track record of performance in facilities management, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and practice.
