Job Description

As an Acupuncturist at Healing Touch Acupuncture, you will use your expertise to diagnose and treat patients with various health issues through acupuncture techniques. Your role will involve working closely with patients to develop personalised treatment plans aimed at promoting healing and overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Perform acupuncture and other holistic therapies.
• Create a welcoming environment for patients during treatment sessions.
• Advise patients on lifestyle modifications and wellness strategies.
• Foster strong patient relationships through compassion and empathy.
• Regularly assess and document patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Acupuncture or related field
• Recognition by the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is essential

Experience

• Experience treating various health conditions is desired.

Technical Skills

• Electro-acupuncture
• Cupping therapy

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Time management

Certifications

• Certification in Clean Needle Technique (CNT)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with dietary counseling: Knowledgeable in providing dietary advice to enhance patient treatments.
• Ability to speak a second language: Proficiency in another language to support diverse patients.
