Job Description
We are searching for a proactive Medical and Health Services Manager to oversee our healthcare department. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
Lead the therapy department in providing high-quality care to patients.
Ensure efficient operation of all therapy services and compliance with healthcare standards.
Create and oversee strategic plans for service delivery improvement.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
Promote a patient-focused approach in all operations.
Facilitate collaboration among staff for improved patient care.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Manage external audits effectively, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Establish a supportive environment for therapist professional development.
Foster strong relationships with community stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
Certification from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in speech and language therapy, with at least 2 years of management experience.
