Job Description

We are searching for a proactive Medical and Health Services Manager to oversee our healthcare department. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the therapy department in providing high-quality care to patients.
  • Ensure efficient operation of all therapy services and compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Create and oversee strategic plans for service delivery improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Promote a patient-focused approach in all operations.
  • Facilitate collaboration among staff for improved patient care.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Manage external audits effectively, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Establish a supportive environment for therapist professional development.
  • Foster strong relationships with community stakeholders and partners.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
  • Certification from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in speech and language therapy, with at least 2 years of management experience.
