Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Policy Advisor to develop and implement strategic policies that promote sustainability and environmental stewardship. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of UK environmental regulations and a keen understanding of current ecological issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy development initiatives focusing on sustainability.
• Analyse current environmental policies and recommend improvements.
• Develop strategic partnerships with environmental organisations.
• Prepare legislative briefings and policy analysis reports.
• Engage in lobbying efforts related to environmental issues.
• Oversee policy implementation and compliance evaluations.
• Report on policy outcomes and project effectiveness.
• Participate in the review of environmental assessments.
• Organise training sessions on environmental regulations.
• Manage and mentor junior policy staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Studies is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental policy development
