Job Description

Our Oxford veterinary practice is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be passionate about animal welfare and will provide excellent treatment to a variety of pets and animals. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care to patients.
  • Assess and advise on complex cases and procedures.
  • Promote preventive healthcare through client education.
  • Handle animal behaviour cases with sensitivity.
  • Assist with the smooth operation of the practice.
  • Build rapport with clients and their pets, providing compassionate care.
  • Mentor and evaluate the performance of veterinary nurses.
  • Engage in community outreach and events to promote veterinary services.

Requirements

Education
  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon
  • Postgraduate qualification in veterinary medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience
