Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sample Maker to join our vibrant team. The Sample Maker will be responsible for creating prototypes and samples of various products to meet client specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine prototypes, adapting to client feedback and project requirements.
  • Work closely with engineers and designers to align on product functionalities.
  • Research and suggest new materials and techniques for improved prototype quality.
  • Utilize CAD software for designing and modifying prototypes effectively.
  • Participate in team meetings to present prototypes and gather insights from colleagues.
  • Assist in training junior staff or apprentices in sample-making techniques.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in prototype development.
  • Evaluate the success of prototypes in terms of usability and aesthetics.
  • Adhere to timelines for prototype development and communicate any potential delays.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance sample-making processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in fashion design or textile engineering is a plus
Experience
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
