Job Description

We are in search of a Biofuels Production Manager to oversee our production facility in Manchester. The successful candidate will lead a team of 50 employees, managing day-to-day operations while ensuring our biofuels meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production team in daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for biofuels production.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.
  • Report production metrics and improvements to upper management.
  • Collaborate with R&D on product innovation and process optimisation.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing sector
