Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and the ability to manage various construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise engineering software to create effective designs and simulations.
  • Gather and analyse data using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Assist in the tendering process by evaluating bids and providing recommendations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on structural projects
