Job Description

As a Beekeeper at Bee Harmony Ltd., you'll manage and care for beehives, ensuring the health of honey bee colonies and producing high-quality honey. Your role is vital in supporting local ecosystems and sustainable agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper hive setup, equipment maintenance, and effective inspections.
• Conduct health assessments of bee colonies, provide treatments as necessary.
• Participate in honey harvesting and product packaging.
• Support educational outreach initiatives about the importance of bees and their products.
• Manage logistical operations for transporting beehives.
• Collaborate with the farming team to enhance pollination strategies in the area.
• Document observations and findings to contribute to research and development in beekeeping.
• Develop personal growth plans and pursue professional development opportunities in beekeeping.
• Foster a collaborative community among local beekeepers.

Requirements

Education

• Basic Certificate in Beekeeping or equivalent qualification
• Additional training in sustainable agriculture is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in beekeeping or related fields.
