Job Description
As a Beekeeper at Bee Harmony Ltd., you'll manage and care for beehives, ensuring the health of honey bee colonies and producing high-quality honey. Your role is vital in supporting local ecosystems and sustainable agriculture.
Responsibilities
Ensure proper hive setup, equipment maintenance, and effective inspections.
Conduct health assessments of bee colonies, provide treatments as necessary.
Participate in honey harvesting and product packaging.
Support educational outreach initiatives about the importance of bees and their products.
Manage logistical operations for transporting beehives.
Collaborate with the farming team to enhance pollination strategies in the area.
Document observations and findings to contribute to research and development in beekeeping.
Develop personal growth plans and pursue professional development opportunities in beekeeping.
Foster a collaborative community among local beekeepers.
Requirements
Education
Basic Certificate in Beekeeping or equivalent qualification
Additional training in sustainable agriculture is preferred
Experience
2+ years of experience in beekeeping or related fields.
