Job Description

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. You will work closely with application developers and other IT staff to design and implement solutions that serve our business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee database configuration, performance tuning, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with system architects to develop integration strategies.
  • Enforce database security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular data audits and health checks.
  • Maintain proper documentation of database systems and operational procedures.
  • Analyse data requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members in best practices and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing databases
