Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Dumfries. The successful candidate will have a robust background in vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and physical therapy applications for enhancing automobile performance.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle problems using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Execute repairs and modifications according to safety protocols.
  • Engage in proactive communication with clients regarding their vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist with training junior staff on best practices.
  • Evaluate customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Help maintain the workshop to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Automotive Engineering
  • Master Mechanic qualification is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in a mechanical workshop environment
