Job Description

As a Tactical Vehicle Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting tactical vehicles to meet both company and client specifications. Your role is critical in maintaining the high standards of our product offerings, and you'll need a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicle surfaces are clean and prepared for coating.
  • Mix, apply, and finish paint as per specifications.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Assist in training new team members on painting techniques.
  • Participate in quality control assessments.
  • Stay updated with new painting techniques and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification in spray painting or a related field preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial painting role.
Technical Skills
  • High-pressure spraying techniques
  • Knowledge of military specifications
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication
  • Problem-solving
Certifications
  • Certification in Hazardous Materials Handling
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in refurbishment projects: Background in working on refurbishment projects for military equipment.
