Job Description

Join our passionate team as an Animal Health Technician where you will contribute to the medical care of various animals. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients, maintaining medical records, and communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' health and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist in surgical procedures and patient monitoring.
  • Conduct routine veterinary tests and assist in diagnosis.
  • Offer nutritional and behavioural advice to pet owners.
  • Ensure the clinic's compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with emergency care and triage when necessary.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff and interns.
  • Manage supplies and inventory for the practice.
  • Engage with pet owners to discuss treatment options and care plans.
  • Support the veterinarians in clinical research and documentation.
  • Utilise veterinary software for appointments and record management.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma/Certificate in Veterinary Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science is preferable
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in veterinary practices
