Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Dietetic Technician to support registered dietitians in delivering top-notch nutritional care to patients. The ideal candidate will assist in assessing dietary needs, creating meal plans, and monitoring patients' progress in a variety of healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse data on patients' nutritional needs, working closely with health professionals.
  • Craft personalized dietary plans under the guidance of registered dietitians.
  • Evaluate and document the effectiveness of dietary interventions.
  • Provide nutrition education to patients and their families.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and standards related to dietetics and nutrition.
  • Manage food and nutrition-related resources efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the nutritional guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field
  • Advanced certifications in dietetic practice or nutrition
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting focusing on nutritional assessments.
