Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our talented team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will work on a variety of civil engineering projects, applying advanced analysis techniques to assess structural integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural assessments and develop innovative design solutions.
• Analyse load distributions and structural response under various conditions.
• Draft and compile project documentation for regulatory approval.
• Liaise with clients to discuss project goals and requirements.
• Participate in the development of project budgets and timelines.
• Promote a culture of health and safety within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• 3D Modelling Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Professional Engineering License (where applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainable design practices: Knowledge of sustainable construction methods and principles.
• Familiarity with structural dynamics: Understanding of dynamic behaviour in structures.
