Job Description

As a Transportation Engineer, you will be crucial in developing and optimizing traffic systems. You will analyze traffic patterns, design traffic signal systems, and implement strategies to enhance transportation efficiency in urban areas.

Responsibilities

  • Design and plan traffic control systems and conduct regular inspections.
  • Assess traffic flow and identify bottlenecks and hazards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align projects with community needs.
  • Conduct capacity analysis for proposed transport facilities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding traffic projects.
  • Advise on public transportation systems and their integration with road traffic.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and legislative changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering certification preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in traffic engineering or transportation project management
