Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carding Utility Tender to join our team. The role involves operating and maintaining carding machines to ensure efficient processing of textile materials. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of textile manufacturing processes and be proficient in machinery operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of multiple carding machines to ensure production goals are met.
• Adjust machine settings based on production requirements and fibre types.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors to address production issues promptly.
• Help with inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
• Participate in quality assurance inspections and report any defects.
• Document equipment performance metrics and suggest improvements to processes.
• Facilitate communication with team members to align on production goals.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in textile manufacturing is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience in operating other textile machinery is a plus.
