The Theatrical Wardrobe Dresser plays a crucial role in ensuring that wardrobe items are meticulously maintained and prepared for performances. This position requires an eye for detail and a passion for the arts, as you will work closely with actors and the costume department to manage all aspects of costume care during productions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all costumes are cleaned and presented correctly before each performance.
• Assist with the preparation of costumes for dress rehearsals and shows.
• Provide support in costume alterations under the guidance of the costume designer.
• Maintain strong communication with team members regarding costume needs.
• Document any issues with costumes and report them to the Wardrobe Manager.

Advantageous

• Experience in costume design: Previous experience in costume design will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of stagecraft: Familiarity with stagecraft and performance requirements is an advantage.
