Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, you will manage daily operations and ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the stockyard team, ensuring safety compliance, and implementing quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stockyard operations and manage the stockyard workforce.
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely stock delivery.
• Train new staff on operational procedures and safety practices.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and compliance standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training preferred

Experience

• Experience in the steel industry is an advantage
