Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in creating and customizing high-quality prosthetic glass eyes. You will work closely with patients to understand their needs and preferences, applying your artistic skills to craft solutions that closely match natural aesthetics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high-quality, tailored glass eyes for patients.
  • Assess patient needs through consultations to provide optimal solutions.
  • Utilise CAD software for designing prosthetic elements.
  • Engage in continuous learning and training to apply the latest advancements.
  • Work within a sterile environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with a team of ocular specialists and technicians to enhance innovation.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certification or qualification in Healthcare Technology
Experience
