We are on the lookout for an experienced Plating Machine Setter and Operator, specialising in copper plating. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in plating processes, the ability to operate and maintain plating equipment, and exhibit strong attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust plating machines for optimal performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Monitor chemical levels and replenish as needed.
• Train new staff on plating processes and machine operation.
• Implement improvements in plating processes and workflows.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in plating or relevant industrial qualifications.

Experience

• Experience in other metal plating techniques considered an asset.

Technical Skills

• Plating equipment maintenance
• Understanding of plating chemistries

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Organisational skills

Certifications

• Additional relevant certifications in plating or metal works are advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent
