Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Marine Ecology Technician to join our talented team in Haverhill. The successful candidate will assist in various marine biology research projects, collecting and analysing data related to marine life and ecosystems. You will play a critical role in conservation initiatives aimed at protecting marine biodiversity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular data collection from marine environments.
  • Aid in laboratory experiments and sample processing.
  • Facilitate workshops to raise awareness about marine conservation.
  • Prepare technical documents and reports for internal and external use.
  • Mentor junior staff or interns involved in marine projects.
  • Collaborate with external partners on joint marine initiatives.
  • Analyse data using statistical software.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology or related field
  • Relevant certifications in marine ecology are preferred
Experience
  • Experience in laboratory analysis is a plus
