Job Description

As a Land Classifier, you will be pivotal in accurately categorizing and classifying various land types. This role demands keen attention to detail and a solid grounding in land management principles, as you work closely with environmental scientists and surveyors.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new classification methodologies as required.
  • Drive improvements in land classification techniques.
  • Assist in training new staff on classification processes.
  • Document and review procedures for quality assurance.
  • Contribute to community outreach programs regarding land use.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Geospatial Sciences
  • Further education in GIS techniques is a plus.
Experience
  • Experience with remote sensing technologies is desirable.
