Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paperboard Box Maker to join our manufacturing team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in producing high-quality paperboard boxes. As part of our dynamic team, you will operate machinery, measure materials, and ensure that our products meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot machinery during operation.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production improvements.
  • Assist in training sessions for lesser experienced staff members.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is worn and utilized correctly.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Production Manager.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications or certifications related to manufacturing or quality control are advantageous.
Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume production environment.
