Job Description

We are seeking skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operators and Tenders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of refining furnaces used in metal processing, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pumps and valves operate correctly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections to prevent equipment failures.
• Document maintenance activities and report any discrepancies.
• Support the maintenance team during routine checks and repairs.
• Work closely with supervisors to enhance system performance.
• Participate in emergency response drills and safety audits.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Relevant vocational qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years experience in a similar operational role

• Electrical Systems Knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
