Coil Winders, Tapers, and Finishers

Job Description

As a Coil Winder, Taper, and Finisher, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining wire wrapping machinery to produce high-quality wire products that meet customer specifications. We seek individuals who are detail-oriented, technically adept, and ready to contribute to our production team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wire wrapping machinery according to production schedules.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Record production data and report any discrepancies to management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all tasks.
• Assist in training new staff members on machinery operation and safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas for enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training is a plus

Experience

• Experience with different types of wire, such as copper and aluminium.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Quality control systems

Advantageous

• Certification in manufacturing processes: Relevant certification or training that enhances understanding of manufacturing.
• Experience with copper and aluminum wire: Specific experience in handling different wire types for production.
