Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and control rotary furnaces used for various metallurgical processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal furnace conditions to ensure efficient operation and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Control the day-to-day operation of rotary furnaces.
• Conduct regular quality checks while processing materials.
• Investigate and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct operational checks and adjust parameters as needed.
• Train new operators on furnace operations and safety protocols.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Report any safety issues or incidents immediately.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
• Document furnace performance data accurately.
