Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Consultant to join our skilled team in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and a passion for patient care, contributing to the development and implementation of effective therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients using a variety of assessment tools tailored to their needs.
  • Design and implement rehabilitation programs that facilitate client recovery.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and promote their well-being in collaboration with healthcare staff.
  • Regularly review and modify treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of occupational therapy services.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers to enhance client outcomes.
  • Document all activities and maintain confidentiality of patient records.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational therapy practice
