Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Manchester. You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and evidence-based therapies while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess psychological conditions using validated tools and methodologies.
  • Create tailored therapeutic interventions to meet clients' needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention support when necessary.
  • Engage actively with clients to foster a therapeutic relationship.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of client progress and outcomes.
  • Liaise with external agencies for additional support and resources.
  • Participate in research projects and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the training of psychology students and interns.
  • Engage in reflective practice and supervision.
  • Promote mental health awareness within the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Postdoctoral experience preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mental health services

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Certifications
  • Clinical Neuropsychology Certification
