Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team in London. This role involves providing psychological assessments and therapy to clients, developing tailored treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose clients through interviews and psychological tests.
• Design comprehensive treatment strategies and deliver therapy.
• Collaborate on cases with other healthcare professionals for holistic care.
• Participate actively in team meetings to discuss client progress.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical practices in all patient interactions.
• Stay abreast of the latest psychological research and developments.
• Create and conduct workshops to educate clients and families.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
• HCPC Registration and BPS Membership preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience with diverse populations

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Counselling Skills

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Training in mindfulness-based interventions: Skill in using mindfulness approaches to aid recovery.
• Familiarity with psychological research methodologies: Knowledge of research methods in psychology to inform practice.
