Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Leeds. In this role, you will dispense medications, provide healthcare advice, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the dispensing of prescriptions and ensure accuracy.
• Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
• Engage with local health services to support patient care initiatives.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder medications as necessary.
• Participate in pharmacy health initiatives and community outreach.
• Train and mentor pharmacy support staff.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy role

• Pharmaceutical Care

Certifications

• GPhC Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced Clinical Skills: Further qualifications in clinical pharmacy or similar areas.
