Telecommunications Line Installer and Repairer

Job Description

As a Telecommunications Line Installer and Repairer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground power lines. We seek a proactive individual with a solid technical background in electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain specialized installation and repair tools, including bucket trucks.
• Conduct testing and inspections of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with team members for project execution and solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance skills.
• Follow industry-specific regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized electrical lineworker apprenticeship program

Experience

• Experience with high-voltage power lines is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Specialized tools knowledge

Soft Skills

• Strong physical fitness

Certifications

• Additional first aid certifications preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
