Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Auto Wrecker to join our team in Birmingham. As an Auto Wrecker, you will be responsible for the safe dismantling of end-of-life vehicles, salvaging reusable parts while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely dismantle vehicles, extracting valuable components for reuse.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise dismantling processes.
• Assist in training new employees on vehicle dismantling techniques.
• Monitor inventory levels of salvaged parts and replenish as needed.
• Identify potential recycling opportunities to improve sustainability efforts.
• Support in the management of waste disposal contracts.
• Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to maintain safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications in automotive mechanics or salvage operations would be advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
