Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Compliance Specialist based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. You will also assist with tax audits and support cross-functional teams to resolve tax matters efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the completion of payroll schedules and deadlines.
  • Implement and maintain payroll best practices and processes.
  • Generate various payroll reports for management review.
  • Stay updated with changes in wage and tax laws.
  • Coordinate with finance team for accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in budget preparation related to payroll expenses.
  • Train junior payroll staff as needed.
  • Provide support for payroll-related projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • A-levels or equivalent
  • Degree in Finance or related field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a busy environment
Technical Skills
  • SAGE Payroll

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with financial reporting: Ability to assist in preparing financial reports related to payroll.
