A hand former is responsible for shaping and forming various materials manually using tools and equipment to create precise and accurate components. Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various hand tools and machinery to create intricate molds and cores.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products, focusing on meeting specifications.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
• Work alongside other production staff to achieve team goals.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Work flexibly to attend to the demands of production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant training or apprenticeship in hand forming or similar field is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience with different materials, such as metals or plastics, is preferred.

Languages
