Job Description

Join us as a Cooper Apprentice! In this role, you'll assist skilled coopers in crafting high-quality barrels while learning the essential techniques and practices of this traditional craft. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in manufacturing, as no prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coopers in day-to-day barrel production activities.
  • Work on maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery used in barrel production.
  • Help to monitor production quality to meet required standards.
  • Contribute to team goals and projects for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in safety meetings to uphold workplace standards.
  • Document daily tasks and report progress to the Head Cooper.

Advantageous

  • Previous Experience in a Manufacturing Environment: Any hands-on experience in a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience with Woodworking Tools: Familiarity with the safe use of woodworking machinery and tools.
