Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Nurse to provide exceptional care to women during labor and delivery. This role entails working closely alongside medical teams to ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns, delivering support and compassion through one of life's most pivotal moments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery process and react promptly to any complications.
  • Assess and document maternal and fetal vitals meticulously.
  • Prepare and maintain delivery equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Liaise with obstetricians and pediatricians to coordinate care.
  • Encourage family involvement, respecting individual wishes during labour.
  • Engage in continuous education regarding childbirth processes and maternal health advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Nursing degree or diploma
  • Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • Specialized training in obstetrics and neonatal care preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Obstetrics or Labour and Delivery nursing.

  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
