Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to ensure the effective planning and coordination of maintenance activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule maintenance work orders and ensure they are completed on time.
  • Liaise with team leaders and department heads to ensure seamless communications regarding maintenance needs.
  • Review backlog of maintenance requests and prioritize them based on urgency.
  • Evaluate maintenance processes to find areas for improvement and increased productivity.
  • Facilitate training sessions for maintenance staff to enhance skills and compliance.
  • Participate in budget planning for maintenance operations and control expenditures.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical certification in project management is advantageous
Experience
  • Proven track record of successfully coordinating maintenance activities
Technical Skills
  • Database management systems
  • AutoCAD or similar design software
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations: Understanding of compliance requirements in relation to maintenance work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings: Capability to understand and utilize technical schematics in maintenance planning.
