Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Leather Tacker to join our production team. The Leather Tacker will be responsible for tacking leather components together, ensuring a high-quality finished product. This hands-on role requires keen attention to detail and precision in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use a tacking machine effectively to attach leather pieces together.
• Ensure that stitches are straight and even for durability.
• Work closely with other production staff to achieve team targets.
• Check finished products for quality assurance before packing.
• Maintain tacking machinery and report any issues to management.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss improvements.
• Keep up to date with manufacturing processes and productivity goals.
• Support inventory management by organizing work materials.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or higher

Experience

• Experience with leather components and tacking machinery preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience with inventory management systems
• Ability to read technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to read technical drawings: Understanding of technical specifications for leather products.
• Experience with inventory management: Knowledge of systems to track materials and manage stock levels.
