Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing excellent customer support, and maintaining IT systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our technology runs smoothly, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support inquiries.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in IT systems.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of IT equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on hardware and software systems.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing IT processes and support strategies.
  • Document and track IT issues using helpdesk software.
  • Provide training and support to team members on new technology.
  • Assist with project implementation as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or technical support roles
