IT Support Technician

Job Description

Looking for an IT Support Technician to join our Glasgow team. You will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting issues for our clients. The ideal candidate will be familiar with IT systems and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or remote access.
• Troubleshoot various IT issues and provide timely solutions.
• Assist with the setup of new technology and software for users.
• Help manage the IT inventory and ensure all equipment is accounted for.
• Respond quickly to urgent support requests and effectively resolve them.
• Document resolutions and keep records of support requests.
• Assist in developing IT policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development of training materials for users.
• Support the rollout of new applications and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ITIL Certification is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in technical support

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with VoIP systems: Knowledge of VoIP telephony systems and configurations.
