Software Tester

Job Description

As a Software Tester in Reading, you will ensure our software applications function optimally. This role requires strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and deliver quality assurance through rigorous testing, working closely with our development team to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Write and maintain clear and concise test documentation.
• Work closely with developers to understand software functionality.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Identify, record, and track defects using issue tracking software.
• Research new testing tools and strategies to enhance testing efficiency.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Validate fixes and ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance

• Performance Testing Tools

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
