Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Craft Artist to join our art conservation team. The successful candidate will assess and restore a variety of art objects, applying expert techniques to restore them to their former glory.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed examinations of various art objects.
• Create effective restoration strategies for a variety of materials.
• Execute conservation treatments with a focus on historical accuracy.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the restoration process.
• Engage in public outreach and educational initiatives to promote art conservation.
• Collaborate with art historians to understand the significance of works.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Conservation or a related field
• Master's degree in Art Conservation preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in art restoration

Languages

• English: Fluent
