Job Description

We are seeking a Geographic Information System Surveyor (GIS Surveyor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in surveying, mapping and data collection using GIS software.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement geospatial projects from initiation to completion.
  • Utilise technology including LiDAR and photogrammetry for data collection.
  • Ensure compliance with surveying standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and planners to integrate GIS into projects.
  • Assist in project budgeting and resource planning related to GIS activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
Experience
  • 3+ years in GIS-related roles including data analysis
Technical Skills
  • Database Management
  • Programming (Python, SQL)
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • Membership in a professional organisation (e.g., RICS or CICES)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
